Choosing Excellent Entertainment

When I started thinking about different ways to entertain my friends and family for a big party I was going to throw, I realized that there were a few things that we needed to do in order to make the day really special. I was able to choose a really awesome band to provide the entertainment, and I was happy about what it would mean for my event. During the party, I was really impressed with how professional they were and how seriously they took our event. This blog is all about finding great entertainment and knowing how to create a great party for other people.

4 Ways to Add Education to a Live Baseball Game

Attending a live baseball game with your child is an ideal way to create great memories and watch an exciting sport. When purchasing baseball tickets for sale, you can take the game experience one step further by naturally infusing some educational elements into the experience.

Learn about the educational aspects and ways you can turn the event into a growth-building time with you and your child.

1. Concession Stand Purchases

As you head to a concession stand for snack and drink purchases, you can turn the event into a little math education. Have a child add up the total amount, pay for the food, and see how much change they receive back. Not only can a child learn how to properly budget, but you can help them gain confidence and experience with social interactions while paying.

The food purchases are an ideal time to teach the child about sales tax amounts and how much money goes into each purchase.

2. Game Program and Score Trackers

When you purchase tickets, you also have the option to purchase an official game program while at the stadium. A game program includes details about the roster along with a scorecard sheet. You can work with your child to fill out the scorecard and teach them how to count strikes and hits.

Once the data adds up, you can start teaching your child about calculating batting averages and other statistical details. The fun aspects of a scorecard will not feel like work and help a child feel more connected to the game.

3. Baseball Team History

Every baseball team in the major league is filled with a rich history of players and stories. As you watch the game, you can throw in tidbits about the team and talk about the changes the team has gone through over the years.

The history lesson can expand beyond the game as you share classic clips online and create a real fandom for the franchise. You also have a chance to visit the team store during the game and check out classic merchandise. You can purchase a set of cards featuring classic players and showcase how the team has grown through the years.

4. The Science of Baseball

A baseball game is an ideal way to teach a child about science. You can go into detail about pitches, hits, and velocity. You can dive deep into ways that weather impacts the game and the different stances players take during a game. While a lot of the discussion may feel like general baseball talk, there is a lot of science involved.

After your first game, you can purchase additional tickets and turn your educational sport adventures into a new family tradition. If you are interested in baseball, look into what tickets are available, such as Pirates tickets
